Rock For Reading is an all volunteer organization. We have a dedicated staff of officers and board of directors as well as an excellent advisory board.

Rock For Reading Breakdown of Donations

Rock For Reading distributes grants on an annual basis. Seventy percent of all funds raised go directly to reading and literacy programs. Twenty percent of all funds raised goes to Rock For Reading programming that raises awareness for the cause of literacy. Additionally, we keep a five percent discretionary fund available for smaller grant requests throughout the year. The remaining five percent pays for direct operating costs including legal, filing fees, printing and copying, event fees, board insurance and website maintenance.
